Diagnosis

Small sea fans, very much smaller than other members of the genus. 
They are pale in colour, commonly white but with slight tints of mauve.
Their branching pattern is of several ascending branches from which secondary branches come off in feather-like, or pinnate fashion.
 Colonies with branches partially pinnate and reticulate (may be mostly pinnate or mostly reticulate), mesh wider than longer
